Fleece jackets provide lightweight warmth without bulk, ideal for layering. Their moisture-wicking properties keep you dry during activity, while breathable fabric prevents overheating. Turn the jacket inside-out, use cold water (30°C max), and a mild detergent (no fabric softener). Opt for a gentle cycle or handwash. Air-dry flat or hang—avoid tumble drying. For stains, pre-treat with a powdered soap solution.
Pilling occurs from friction during wear or washing. Prevent it by washing inside-out and avoiding rough surfaces. Some brands suggest air-drying to minimise fibre damage.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent UV degradation. Ensure it’s fully dry before storage to avoid mildew. Fold loosely or hang to maintain shape. For seasonal storage, use breathable garment bags.
